Ionuț Radu Leads Celta Vigo to Draw Against Real Betis, Maintains Strong Defense

Ionuț Radu, at 29 years old, played the full match as Celta Vigo held Real Betis to a scoreless draw, 0-0, in the 10th round of La Liga.
The Romanian international recorded his fifth match without conceding a goal in this league season.
Radu and the Galician defense successfully shut out a Champions League team, Real Betis, which featured two former winners of the prestigious club competition, Isco and Dani Ceballos, from the start.
Although Betis had a slight edge in possession (56% to 44%), total shots (15 to 12), and expected goals (1.08 to 0.84), they only managed to place two shots on target, both of which were saved by Radu.

The Madrid-based newspaper described the match as “a fair result, likely good for both sides. Neither team wanted to take unnecessary risks, with both aware of the opponent’s quality.”
Following this match, Radu and Celta Vigo have allowed only 7 goals through the first 10 rounds, marking them as the strongest defense in the league!
