Hansi Flick Prepares Barcelona for Crucial PSG Clash

Barcelona’s coach, Hansi Flick, believes the gap between his team and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is primarily a matter of maturity.
Last season, during this same stage of the Champions League, Barcelona suffered a 2-1 defeat to PSG at Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys. However, Flick’s squad has seen significant improvement, achieving an impressive record of 11 consecutive wins in La Liga and the Champions League this season.
Hansi Flick: “It’s a Matter of Maturity”
Flick maintains that the upcoming rematch with PSG will be a true measure of Barcelona’s current standing. “Tomorrow is a test. We are facing one of the best teams, if not the best. It will be an opportunity to showcase our level and how far we can go. After this match, we will know a lot,” noted the German coach, who is also looking ahead to the upcoming El Clasico against Real Madrid.
When discussing the difference between PSG and Barcelona, Flick remarked, “It’s a matter of maturity. They have matured as a team significantly in recent years, and their achievements have been both important and surprising. In their last match, they turned the result around in just a few minutes. This is the quality they possess, along with a bench full of fantastic players.”
Flick on Luis Enrique: “Excellent! One of the Best”
Regarding his matchup with Luis Enrique, Flick expressed respect for the coach, stating, “He is an excellent coach, one of the best. He has won two Champions League titles consecutively, and his team plays fantastic football.”
Flick praised the dynamism and intensity of Enrique’s team, highlighting their risk-taking and flexible play style. “They have done a very good job,” he added.
Last season was tough. This year, we have played in the style we desire from the outset. It is a confident team with good ball control. It is completely different. We will see what happens tomorrow. We are ready. My players are excited to face PSG, a fantastic team with an excellent coach. It will be a great opportunity to show how good we are,” stated Hansi Flick.
