Arsenal Fans Outraged Over £50 Breakfast Price at Emirates Stadium

Arsenal fans voiced their discontent regarding the exorbitant price of an English breakfast at Emirates Stadium during the match against Leeds on Saturday, which Arsenal won 2-1.
Those supporters who sought to satisfy their hunger with a traditional meal were taken aback by the bill. The cost for a plate, containing minimal items such as one fried egg, two sausages, a mushroom, a tomato, a slice of bread, one piece of bacon, and a cup of baked beans at the Woolwich restaurant was set at £50, equivalent to approximately €59.
Fans Criticize the Price
Supporters reacted with disbelief and criticism on social media, expressing their frustration with the club regarding the breakfast pricing. One fan lamented, “This is a bigger scam than the one from Man City.” Another remarked, “£50 for this! It must be typical Arsenal.” A third supporter furiously stated, “Absolutely nothing on that plate justifies that price.” However, some chose to make light of the situation, with one fan quipping, “Maybe they forgot to include the sides?!”
Ticket Prices Have Been Rising for Years
High prices at Arsenal are nothing new. The club has faced backlash from fans in previous seasons over consistently increasing ticket and membership costs. In February 2026, Arsenal announced a rise in ticket prices for the fifth consecutive year, introducing a new category for major matches. This new ticket type, referred to as A+, ranges from £90 (approximately €103) to £168 (around €192) and is reserved for significant games such as Champions League quarter-finals and semi-finals.
Additionally, two Premier League matches each season have been categorized as B+, indicating that Arsenal now has five different pricing tiers for tickets. The overall ticket prices increased by 3.9%, with the club estimating this would generate an additional £6 million in revenue per season.
