South Korea Withdraws Ambassador from Ukraine Amid Diplomatic Tensions
South Korea has decided to withdraw its ambassador from Ukraine, according to the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This action is a response to escalating diplomatic tensions that arose after Ukraine announced the transfer of two North Korean soldiers, who had fought alongside Russian forces, to Seoul.
Officials in South Korea claim that the details surrounding this transfer were meant to remain confidential; however, Ukraine denies any agreement to that effect. The South Korean government believes that Ukraine’s apology for the situation is insufficient.
