Pastor Mhlakela has announced October 12-13 as the definitive date for the Rapture, stating, “The Lord returns to take His church. Be ready.” He claims this will be the last prediction he makes concerning this event.
According to Mhlakela, these dates align with the biblical celebration of the “Feast of Trumpets,” which he associates with the prophesied events of the end times. He warns that following the Rapture, a period of great tribulation will commence for those left behind, urging people to repent.
Previously, Mhlakela had forecasted the Rapture for 2025, a prediction that did not materialize. In a recent interview, he acknowledged the inaccuracy of that date, subsequently proposing new calculations.
Despite his assertions, Mhlakela has not provided any evidence to support the claim that the Rapture will occur on October 12-13. This is not his first prediction regarding the Rapture; according to the Daily Mail, the pastor has made similar forecasts in the past, most of which have proven incorrect. Following one failed prediction, he suggested that the Rapture had been “postponed.”
