The Ukrainian Defense Forces have successfully regained an additional 51 square kilometers of territory, bringing the total reclaimed since the start of their offensive operations to 176 square kilometers. This information was confirmed by Commander of the Third Army Corps, Biletsky, during discussions about Operation “Vivaldi.” Areas liberated include Ridkodub, Katerynivka, and Nova, while full control has been restored over Karpiivka and Novomykhailivka.
During this phase of the operation, Russian military losses have exceeded 2,000 personnel, with over 250 Russian soldiers reportedly captured. Many of these troops surrendered in entire units along with their officers, pilots, and artillerymen, and there are plans to exchange them for Ukrainian fighters.
