The Trukha project is continuing its mission to provide housing for families impacted by conflict, sharing inspiring stories along the way. Recently, I discussed the journey of a family from Lysychansk, well-known to our regular followers. Olga, Yevhen, and their two children lived for years in a cramped 12-square-meter room in a former monastery. Their home was destroyed by Russian shelling during the occupation.
This summer, the family moved into an apartment that was purchased for them through our efforts. However, the articles go beyond just housing. I shared insights on how the project originated, funding sources for the apartments, and the process we follow to assist families from application to handing over the keys.
