In a separate incident, the Kyiv region was also under attack overnight, with a residential nine-story building in Boryspil suffering damage. Timur Tkachенко, head of the regional military administration, reported two additional injuries from this assault.
Videos circulating on social media show the aftermath of the bombing, highlighting significant fire damage to the building’s roof. Rescue teams successfully evacuated around fifteen individuals from the affected site.
In Obukhiv and Bucha districts, reports confirmed further destruction due to the attacks. The situation escalated on the evening of September 4, when the supermarket ‘Epicenter’ in Mykolaiv was hit by multiple drone strikes. According to acting regional administration head Georgiy Reshetilov, an elderly man and a 17-year-old girl sustained injuries in this incident.
The State Emergency Service indicated that Russian forces had repeatedly targeted the shopping center using drones.
