Gică Hagi, the head coach of the Romanian national football team, was spotted at the Ilie Oană Stadium during the fifth round of the Superliga, where Petrolul faced Rapid. Known as “The King,” Hagi took time to connect with Mircea Dridea, a celebrated figure in Romanian football, at the event.
Mircea Dridea, who is 89 years old, is a legendary player for Petrolul Ploiești, famously scoring the decisive goal in their historic 3-1 victory over Liverpool in October 1966, overcoming a 0-2 deficit from the first leg at Anfield.

Since his appointment as the national team’s coach, Hagi has attended numerous Superliga matches, including the one between Petrolul and Rapid. During the game, he spent several minutes conversing with the iconic figure of Dridea.
New Signing Diogo Pinto at the Match
Diogo Pinto, the latest addition to Dinamo, was also present at the match, accompanied by his agent, Bogdan Mitrea. Pinto, who has recently joined from Olimpija Ljubljana, had not played in any official matches for nine months and had scored six goals in 53 games during his time at the Slovenian club.
