Shanghai Port pressed hard for an equalizer in the second half and came close in the 86th minute when Zhen Wei missed a penalty kick. However, the defending champions managed to level the match in stoppage time, thanks to a goal from Xinxiang Li in the 90+1 minute, securing a 1-1 draw. Stanciu played the entire match.

Dalian Yingbo currently sits in 6th place in the league with 33 points after 23 matches, while Shanghai Port is in 8th place with 26 points.

Next, Dalian Yingbo will face Chongqing Tonglianglong, managed by George Cîmpanu, on August 23.

“It depends on what he wants. He is a player who can still contribute to the Romanian national team, and I believe it would be beneficial for him to return to our league. However, I am uncertain about the economic aspect because that also plays a significant role.” – Florin Răducioiu on a potential return of Nicolae Stanciu to FCSB.
