Earlier today, the Russian Ministry of Defense shared an image of Shahed drones accompanied by the cynical caption, “Like snow on your head.” In the post, they threatened, “This winter, you will face a ‘freeze.'”
In a concise response, the Ukrainian Strategic Command remarked, “We will warm ourselves with the fire from Russian oil refineries.”
Andriy Kovalенко, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council, commented on the threat, suggesting a reciprocal reaction from Ukraine. He indicated that the Russian Ministry of Defense was indirectly addressing its own citizens, stating, “Now Russians can know who is responsible for their lack of light and warmth this winter, alongside fuel shortages. It’s all thanks to the Russian Ministry of Defense.”
