Russia Prepares Intensified Attacks on Ukraine Ahead of Peace Talks

According to analyst Flash, as the prospect of peace negotiations looms, both sides are preparing the groundwork for these discussions. He notes that the war has shifted from frontline combat to a phase of diplomatic and military strikes.

Flash emphasized, “We are in a better position because Russia is larger and has more critical infrastructure affecting the war, which they will struggle to protect over the coming years. However, we are more vulnerable as the enemy is now targeting various locations within our territory indiscriminately. We are generally defending rear areas against gasoline Shaheds. Therefore, we must prepare for attacks that may reach 100 kilometers deep, targeting gas stations, post offices, warehouses, construction and agricultural equipment facilities, railway objects, roads, and electrical substations, not just large power stations,” he warned.

The situation, according to Flash, is “absolutely absurd” as both sides continue to destroy each other’s infrastructure, leading to civilian casualties. While Ukraine aims to halt this cycle, he asserts that Russia does not share this objective, noting that the enemy seems to be fully satisfied with the ongoing destruction.

He concluded, “It is important to understand that we have more than enough resources and motivation to destroy targets within our adversary’s territory.”

As a result of Ukraine’s long-range strikes in Russia and occupied territories, there has been a fuel shortage. Amid economic and energy challenges, dissatisfaction with the regime is rising among Russians. The approval rating of illegitimate President Vladimir Putin is rapidly declining, yet the aggressor nation continues to attack peaceful Ukrainian cities.
