Ukrainian Forces Strike 18 Russian Vessels in Night Operations

Ukrainian officials report that in recent nighttime operations, their forces successfully targeted 18 enemy vessels, bringing the total number of Russian vessels struck to 48. Among the vessels hit were 13 tankers, three cargo ships, a ferry, and a support ship. These vessels were reportedly utilized by the occupiers to transport fuel, military supplies, and other essential resources for their operations against Ukraine.
Robert Brodiy, Commander of the Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces, remarked that this operation has been dubbed the “Azov Branch of Chornobayivka.” He emphasized that every tanker identified is part of a “shadow fleet” and is currently under international sanctions.
Brodiy raised a provocative question regarding the courage or foolishness of sending a tanker to Crimea, highlighting the risks involved for the vessels involved in this conflict.
