Ukrainian Doctors Skeptical of Health Reform Outcomes

Most Ukrainian healthcare professionals do not observe any positive outcomes from the ongoing health reform and are critical of the current state of the healthcare system. This assertion comes from Professor Olha Holubovska, who highlights several key issues affecting the sector. According to her, among the main problems are economically unjustified tariffs set by the National Health Service of Ukraine (NHSU), which doctors perceive as a punitive body, as well as a shortage of staff and a decline in the accessibility of medical care.
