Three Thousand Vehicles Imported for Ukrainian Military Not Delivered

Authorities have arrested individuals suspected of selling vehicles purportedly intended for the Ukrainian military through automotive dealerships. These transactions utilized the credentials of charitable organizations, falsely declaring the vehicles as humanitarian aid at customs, which exempted them from import duties.

Reports indicate that over 3,000 vehicles were brought into Ukraine, but none were actually delivered to military personnel. The Office of the Prosecutor General revealed that during raids, relevant documents from the foundations and eight vehicles were confiscated.

Following a request from the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office, a court has ordered the suspects to be held in custody with the option of bail set at 6.6 million UAH for two of the main organizers. The investigation is ongoing.
