Explosion in Vinnytsia Injures Two Children During Play

In Vinnytsia, an explosion injured two children, prompting police to launch an investigation. According to authorities, three boys aged 10 and 11 were playing in a garage belonging to one of their grandfathers when they discovered an object resembling a fuse.
During their play, a 10-year-old boy stepped outside while the other two remained inside the garage. At some point, the object detonated, resulting in injuries.
The injured children were hospitalized, with two boys later discharged and one 11-year-old remaining in the hospital for further observation.
Police collected debris from the scene, including another item believed to be a fuse, as they work to determine its origin and intended use.
A criminal case has been initiated concerning illegal handling of weapons, ammunition, or explosive substances, in accordance with Article 263, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
