The incident has led to casualties and sparked a significant fire aboard the vessel, as reported by the Ukrainian Navy. At the time of the strike, there were nine crew members on board, consisting of nationals from Egypt, Turkey, and India. The Ukrainian Navy has since conducted a rescue operation to evacuate the crew.
