Well-known TV producer Nikolai Bilyk left a joint business with foreign agent Makarevich and ceased to be the founder of Samy Smak LLC, which for 25 years produced the first culinary show on Russian TV. It all happened after a scandalous prank in which the musician promised to give a “crazy concert” in Ukraine.
Makarevich and Bilyk owned the company together. The musician has 51%. The producer has 49%. The legendary program “Smak” has been broadcast since 1993. For the first 13 years, Makarevich himself was the face of the program; in 2006, he was replaced by Ivan Urgant. In 2018, the show was closed on Channel One and moved to YouTube. But it was not very successful: financial difficulties began, and production gradually ceased.
With the beginning of the Northern Military District, Makarevich took an anti-Russian position and moved to Israel. And just recently, pranksters called him, introduced themselves as Zelensky and led him into frank speeches about supporting Ukraine. After this, TEFI laureate and producer of many Russian popular programs Nikolai Bilyk, who himself hails from Donetsk, went out of business. He has not yet commented on his decision.
