Mark Țuțu, 22 years old, the right back from UTA, is parting ways with Arad after the club refused to meet a 500 euro supplement requested by the player for the extension of the contract. The kid becomes free and becomes an attractive subject in the mercato, being eligible for another season under the U21 rule
Loaned at the beginning of last season by UTA from Ceahlăul, Mark Țuțu, 22 years old, ended up in Arad for free, after a financial blunder by the Moldovans.
And the young right-back took full advantage of the chance offered at “Bătrâna Doamnă”, where last season he collected 35 matches in the championship and the Romanian Cup, becoming a basic man in the team from western Romania.
Having reached the end of the contract, UTA dispenses with the rifles in a strange way: a discrepancy of 500 euros in the extension negotiations!
UTA: “5,000 euros the first season, 6,500 – the second.” Șuțu: “Plus 500 euros rent!”. They didn't get along!
The president of UTA, Alexandru Meszar, preferred to give up the services of Țuțu
“From our point of view, Mark Țuțu is free. We did not offer him the extension of the contract for the next season. He can leave for free”, stressed the president of the Arada team, Alexandru Meszar, for digisport.ro.
GSP sources say, however, that the reality would have been different: UTA would have put him on the table for a two-year commitment, with a salary of 5,000 euros in the first season and 6,500 in the second, and Țuțu would have requested a supplement of 500 euros in both cases for rent costs.
However, Arad said “no!”, so the football player born in Iași will leave UTA for zero. And he will become an interesting target in the mercato given that he still has one more season of eligibility under the U21 rule.
Dinamo and three more competitors for the kid's signature
Mark Țuțu entered the Romanian youth national team circuit
U21 international, Țuțu has already entered Dinamo's radar. However, the “Dogs” are not the only ones interested in the services of the player raised at Impact Academy (Canada) and Varzim (Portugal).
He would also be on the list of two or three more clubs in League 1 and abroad, especially since his status as a free agent already makes him attractive in the transfer market.
UTA dispenses with him under the conditions in which it had brought him in extremely advantageous conditions from Piatra Neamț. Although he would have had to pay 150,000 euros if they wanted to activate the outright purchase clause, they were able to take him for free after Ceahlăul did not pay the kid a debt of 2,200 euros! And federal commissions declared him free at the time.
