MTS announces the expansion of LTE network coverage in the Boguchansky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The “long-range” LTE900 range with an increased coverage radius was turned on at base stations in the villages of Novokhaisky and Pinchuga, as well as the district capital, the village of Boguchany.
About 15 thousand local residents received access to improved voice communications and faster Internet. The changes also affected motorists on the Kansk – Aban – Boguchany, Boguchany – Kodinsk and Boguchany – Manzya roads.
As Sergei Yegoshin, director of MTS in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, noted, the work is aimed at improving the safety and comfort of drivers and passengers, as well as expanding opportunities for small and medium-sized businesses (for example, installing CCTV cameras, digital services in roadside cafes, hotels and technical assistance points).
In 2025, more than 350 LTE base stations were launched in the Krasnoyarsk Territory in more than 280 settlements, including sections of federal and regional roads: Yenisei Tract, Achinsk – Uzhur – Troitskoye, Minusinsk – Bellyk, Novoaltatka – Krutoyarsky and others.
