Costin Amzăr (22 years old) returns to Dinamo this summer, after Al-Nasr Dubai decided not to activate the permanent transfer option. The left-back had been on loan in the United Arab Emirates in September 2024 and the Dubai club paid around €370,000 to secure his services during the loan.
Although Al-Nasr had the possibility to buy him definitively this summer, the changes made at the level of the management and the technical bench changed the situation of the Romanian. Amzar lost his place in the team, his last official match being played on 5 December 2025.
Costin Amzăr returns to Dinamo. The response of the “dogs” after Țicu's departure?
One of the players who contributed to Dinamo's return to the Super League is still under contract with the club from Ștefan cel Mare until the summer of 2027. He will be assessed by the new coach, Nuno Campos, during the mini-meeting dedicated to young players and those returning from loans.
The action will take place in Săftica three days before the official meeting of the team, on June 12. The goal is for the Portuguese coach to decide who he will rely on next season and which players will be included in the training camp in Poland.
Costin Amzăr, 2024, in Dinamo's shirt
Amzăr's intention is to regain his place at Dinamo. In the context in which Raul Opruț remained the only established option for the left defender position after parting with Valentin Țicu, there are chances that Amzăr will be kept in the “dogs” Superleague team, if he will be to the liking of the new A1 from Ștefan cel Mare.
Raised in Dinamo's juniors, he made his debut in the red-white shirt under Dario Bonettiin 2021, in one of the most difficult seasons in the club's history, that of relegation.
325,000 eurosis the share of Costin Amzăr, according to the specialized portal transfermarkt, with 25,000 euros less than when he left the “pack”.
Later, he won his starting position in the 2nd League, contributing to the promotion of the team in the Super League, and after returning to the first stage of Romanian football, he remained a basic man in the first part of the season, with Ovidiu Burcă as coach. However, his situation changed with the installation of Zeljko Kopic on the technical bench, during which the minutes received became less and less.
