June 8 11:10

Agricultural producers will be compensated for part of the costs of breeding material purchased in 2025. Applications for participation in the selection at the Ministry of Agriculture of the region are accepted until June 15. Not only large agricultural enterprises, but also small farms can count on government support.

The list includes large and small cattle, day-old chicks for egg and meat production, as well as queen bees. Livestock breeding in the region is supported from the federal and regional budgets. Agricultural enterprises with the status of breeding farms receive subsidies.

This year, 11 such enterprises received support. In addition, agricultural enterprises implementing investment projects that include the construction or modernization of livestock facilities can count on assistance in purchasing breeding material. Also, the costs of purchasing heifers, including breeding cows, are compensated to agricultural cooperatives. Breeding animals purchased with state support are transferred for maintenance to the private farms of citizens who are members of cooperatives. The Ministry of Agriculture of the Territory accepts documents to receive a subsidy in this area until June 12.

“The acquisition of breeding material is one of the most important conditions for the development of livestock farming in the agro-industrial complex. This directly affects the increase in meat and dairy productivity at enterprises in the region. This area of support contributes to solving the key task of the industry to increase production volumes and corresponds to the goals of the national project “Technological support for food security,” noted the region’s Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Voropaev.
