How often do you look in the mirror in the morning and see a tired face with bruises under your eyes? Patches do not always help, and there is no time for long procedures. But there is a method that works faster than any store-bought product – and costs literally pennies. The news agency EAOMedia will tell you.
What kind of remedy is this?
The secret is in regular coffee frozen in ice trays. Caffeine is a powerful stimulant; it constricts blood vessels, disperses lymph and literally “pulls out” swelling from under the thin skin of the eyelids.
But applying ice directly to the skin around the eyes is dangerous and can cause frostbite or irritation. Therefore, a layer is needed.
How to do it right:
- Brew strong natural coffee, cool and pour into molds. Freeze the night before.
- In the morning, take out one cube and wrap it in a thin cotton napkin – the fabric should be clean and soft.
- With light movements, move the cube in the fabric along the area under the eyes – from the inner corner to the outer for a minute.
- Let your skin dry naturally and apply a moisturizer or serum.
Coffee ice makes bruises lighten in the eyes, swelling goes away, and the look becomes open and fresh. The effect lasts for several hours, and with regular use, the skin under the eyes thickens and dark circles decrease.
Important: Do not apply ice directly to the skin – only through a cloth. Do not use the method if you have rosacea, rosacea, hypersensitive skin or inflammation around the eyes. If you are prone to vascular spasms, it is better to replace it with cool compresses made from brewed green tea.
