Hermannstadt has already started preparations for League 2. The new coach will be announced next week, after which the transfers will also be decided.

Hermannstadt has 700,000 euros to collect from the FRF alone!
Sources within the club explained to Gazeta Sporturilor that the financial situation of the Sibiu group, much discussed at the end of the 2025-2026 season, is nowhere near one that would endanger its operation. Indeed, there are salary arrears for the players, as the former coach, Dorinel Munteanu, also hinted, but Hermannstadt expects no less than 2.7 million euros to enter their accounts.
The sums come from the transfers of Ianis Stoica to Estrela Amadora, 1,350,000 euros, of Tiago to Ujpest Budapest, 500,000 euros remaining from a total of 700,000, but also from the Romanian Football Federation!
Because it respected the 5+6 rule in the 2024 – 2025 season, the Sibiu had to receive from the FRF the sum of 700,000 euros, just like U Cluj and FCSB. But the forum led by Răzvan Burleanu did not transfer the money to the three clubs even now!
All Hermannstadt players have contracts valid for the second division as well
In other news, according to Gazeta's sources, the club is looking for a replacement for Dorinel Munteanu and will present him next week at the latest.
As for the players, they all have valid contracts for the second league, so they remain at the disposal of the club. Transfers, departures and acquisitions will be decided together with the new technician.
