Ansu Fati (23 years old), the striker who just left for good from Barcelona TO Monaco, try a unique experience in parallel with football. The former Catalans player has announced that he will release his first music track, entitled “Sea Como Sea” (No. Fie ce o fi).
The Spanish forward, who moved permanently this summer to AS Monaco, made the announcement via social media and revealed that the project is one he has been working on for some time.
Ansu Fati begins his musical career
The La Masia-raised footballer posted a message to his followers, confirming that the song will be released on June 19.
“I can finally share some great news! On June 19th, my first single “Sea Como Sea” will be released. It's a very special project, made with a lot of enthusiasm and that I've been wanting to share with you for a long time.
I hope you enjoy it, move it and feel it as much as I did. Thank you for being here and being part of this journey”, Fati said.
How the Barcelona footballer got to the studio
According to Marca, Ansu Fati's passion for music began during his recovery from the serious knee injury he suffered in 2020. That's when he started writing lyrics, but the project took shape only after his transfer to Monaco in 2025.
An important influence would also have been Paul Pogba, with whom Fati spent time in recording studios and from whom he would have received the necessary inspiration to release his own song.
“Sea Como Sea” combines several musical styles, including Afrobeats, reggaeton and Amapiano.

Barcelona finally gave in
The announcement comes shortly after the final separation from Barcelona. AS Monaco have activated the €11m buyout clause and the striker will continue in Ligue 1 next season.
The move is also a breath of fresh air for the Catalan club, who have removed the player's annual salary, estimated at around 17.2 million euros, from their payroll.
In total, Barcelona would have saved more than €28m by selling Fati, an important move in the club's bid to return to the 1:1 financial rule imposed by La Liga.
Ansu Fati made his debut for Barcelona's first team in 2019, aged just 16, and was considered at the time to be one of the most promising footballers of his generation.
