Substantial increase in the price of diesel, today, at the gas stations of a large distribution chain in Romania

Rompetrol, one of the big fuel distribution chains, increased diesel prices on Monday, after last week's cheapening, writes Economica.net.

The price of diesel fuel increased by 35 money per liter on Monday, while the price of gasoline remained the same, according to data on the company's website. Now, standard diesel costs 9.59 lei per liter at Rompetrol, the same price level from OMV, MOL or Lukoil stations, according to Economica.

  • Petrom: 9.53 lei
  • OMV: 9.59 lei
  • Rompetrol: 9.59 lei
  • MOL: 9.59 lei
  • Lukoil: 9.59 lei
  • SOCAR: 9.54 lei

How much does petrol cost, on Monday, at Bucharest stations:

  • Petrom: 9.62 lei
  • OMV: 9.68 lei
  • Rompetrol: 9.68 lei
  • MOL: 9.68 lei
  • Lukoil: 9.68 lei
  • SOCAR: 9.64 lei

Last week, diesel, which is the most used fuel in Romania and is usually more expensive, had become cheaper than gasoline in Rompetrol company distribution stations.
