Dinamo continues to look for solutions to strengthen the defensive compartment before the new season, and one of the names on the management's list is that of Ionuț Nedelcearu (30 years old). The centre-back is currently playing in Russia at Akron Togliatti.
Sources close to the situation confirmed for GSP.ro that there have been constant discussions between Dinamo's representatives and those of the footballer in recent months. However, at this point, the chances of the move coming to fruition are slim.

The situation does not differ significantly from the one a year ago, when the club from Ștefan cel Mare was also interested in the services of the Romanian international.
The main obstacle remains the financial one. In addition to the player's important salary, Akron Togliatti also requests a transfer fee to sell the Romanian stopper. Nedelcearu still has a contract with the Russians until 2027. He is quoted by specialized websites at 1.5 million euros.
Nedelcearu comes after a solid season in the Russian first league. The defender was the undisputed starter at Akron Togliatti, a team that managed to stay in the first Russian league. The experienced defender was one of the main men of the team and ticked off 32 matches during the season, scoring one goal and providing two assists for the Russian outfit.

He has 111 matches for Dinamo, 6 goals and a decisive assist. He also has a trophy won in the Ștefan cel Mare: League Cup in the 2016-2017 season.

Raised by Dinamo and launched into big football in the red-white shirt, Nedelcearu left the club in the summer of 2018, when he was transferred to Ufa. He later played for AEK Athens, Crotone and Palermo, before joining Akron Togliatti.
Although a return to “Ștefan cel Mare” would be an attractive option for both supporters and the club, after Boateng's departure, negotiations are far from simple, and at the moment, the transfer seems difficult to achieve.
