Krasnoyarsk resident Vladimir Permyakov acted as the general producer of the feature film “The Seagull,” dedicated to Valentina Tereshkova. This was reported by Gorod Prima with reference to the Debutante Ball channel.
Filming of the film about the historical flight of the first female cosmonaut is taking place in Moscow. Mosfilm noted that the team received full access to all archives, including previously unpublished materials. For the film, the scenery of the spaceship, Mission Control Center and command post was recreated.
The main role will be played by Leonela Manturova. The film also stars Dmitry Chebotarev, Sergei Gorodnichy, Denis Vlasenko, Angelina Strechina, Oleg Savostyuk and other actors.
The premiere is scheduled for April 8, 2027 – on Tereshkova’s 90th birthday and on the eve of Cosmonautics Day. Permyakov promised to do everything possible to ensure that the film was seen by as many viewers as possible.
