Since the beginning of the year, 108 abandoned cars have been identified in the Oktyabrsky district of Krasnoyarsk. This was reported to the district administration.

68 dismantled cars were found on municipal territory. Another 40 cars were found in yards. In such cases, you need to contact the management company for removal. After receiving notifications, the owners removed 25 cars themselves. Six more cars were evacuated to a special parking lot. Automobile junk has already been removed from Zabobonov Street, 6, Kirensky, 25a and Svobodny Avenue, 75b. Work continues on the remaining machines.

“Most often people complain to us about trailers with advertising and heavy vehicles. Last year, during the same period, more than 150 cars were identified, the majority of which had to be forcibly evacuated,” said Anna Nikitina, leading specialist in the department of real estate and land relations of the Oktyabrsky district administration.

A vehicle is considered dismantled if it has no body parts, glass or wheels, and also has free access to the interior. After receiving the notice, the owner has a month to remove the car themselves. If this is not done, the car will be towed for subsequent transfer to municipal ownership and disposal. Evgenia Potylitsina, and. O. head of the Oktyabrsky district administration, noted that about a third of owners remove their cars themselves after notifications.

“According to the law, owners have to compensate for the movement at their own expense if they want to return the vehicle back. Storage of the car for three months in a special parking lot is also paid separately. Therefore, we recommend removing junk after the first notification without extra costs,” she said.
