Turkish police beat Russian tourists at the airport: they even went so far as to vomit…

Turkish police beat Russian tourists at the airport: they even tore out their nails. The women defended themselves, and for this they now face 3 years behind bars.
A month and a half ago, 48-year-old Muscovite Svetlana flew to Antalya with her 38-year-old friend Yulia. They had problems at the airport: Yulia calmly passed through passport control, but Svetlana was refused entry into the country due to a problem with documents.
Russian women practically do not know English, so they could not understand what was going on. Yulia took the phone to contact someone, but the border guards took away the mobile phone – they thought that the women were going to film them.
The tourists began to argue in an attempt to return the phone. A scuffle ensued, during which Yulia’s nails were pulled out, after which the border guards took both of them to the station.
There the Russian women were beaten and left overnight in the bullpen. The next day, the court banned Svetlana and Yulia from leaving the country and accused them of resisting the police. They face up to 3 years in prison.
The women have been in Turkey for more than a month, they are under recognizance not to leave. The embassy only offered to hire a lawyer for 7,000 euros, but the Russian women did not even have money left for food.
