The largest dinosaur, a stegosaurus, was sold in the USA
Its age exceeds 161 million years. The dinosaur was sold for $44.6 million, which exceeded preliminary estimates.
They wanted to sell a stegosaurus named Apex, more than three meters high and about eight meters long, at an auction in New York for $4-6 million, but it turned out to be 10 times more expensive.
The deal surpassed Stan the Tyrannosaurus's previous record of $31.8 million.
