Gigi Becali (67 years old), the owner of FCSB, announced that Siybonga Ngezana (28, central defender) signed the contract extension.
Ngezana is coming off a season far below expectations, but managed to convince Gigi Becali to grant him an extension for another year. The old deal was valid until the summer of 2027.
However, Becali does not know how much he will be able to count on Ngezana. He did not want to undergo surgery to solve certain medical problems and he got less and less minutes. He was integral in the failure with Hermannstadt, 0-2, but had previously ticked only 13 minutes in the last 16 games.
