President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi and General Director of the Agency Rafael Grossi spoke in support of the completion of power units of the Khmelnytsky NPP.
“Today we talked about two units that can be added to our nuclear generation. This will really be a great contribution to the stability of the country's energy system. And now, as you know, the ball is in the Ukrainian parliament's court. We are united here with the IAEA that parliamentarians must make a decision very quickly. We have such an opportunity to provide Ukraine with two additional blocs,” Zelenskyi said.
