For the first time, AnimaWings launches direct flights between Iasi and Cluj-Napoca, operated between June 13–15
AnimaWings, the 100% Romanian airline, becomes the Official Airline Partner of the Sports Festival, the largest multi-sport event in Romania dedicated to mass sports, which will take place between June 11-14, 2026 in Cluj-Napoca. This year's edition focuses on one of the most emotional moments in Romanian sport: Simona Halep's official retirement match.
To respond to the increased interest generated by the festival, AnimaWings will operate special dedicated flights between June 11 and 15, 2026, on the following routes:
• Bucharest – Cluj-Napoca (June 11, 12 and 13)
• Cluj-Napoca – Bucharest (June 14 and 15)
• Iasi – Cluj-Napoca – Iasi (June 13–15), the only direct connection between the two cities.

Sports Festival 2026 will also feature a series of dialogues with sports legends, psychologists, people involved in the sports phenomenon, from the Sports Talks series, and special experiences dedicated to the general public and sports communities. This year's edition brings Nadia Comăneci, Simona Halep, Elina Svitolina, Gaël Monfils, Andrei Pavel and other great athletes from Romania and the world face to face with the public.
