They want to take away a government contract worth 5.4 million rubles from Liana Meladze. Human rights activists are confident that Valeria Meladze’s sister imprisoned him in violation of the law.
According to Mash, we are talking about an agreement that it concluded with the Polar Star Culture and Leisure Center in Olenegorsk. According to the documents, Meladze must bring a certain artist, whose director he is, to a concert on August 31. For this he will receive 5.4 million government rubles.
The government procurement, judging by the documents, was carried out with the participation of a “single supplier.” That is, Meladze had no competitors. The contract was concluded with her on purpose. In addition, the documents do not say a word about what kind of star should perform at the citywide celebration.
The head of the Federal Project on Security and Anti-Corruption, Vitaly Borodin, appealed to the FAS Russia with a demand to check whether the agreement was concluded legally. In his opinion, Meladze is not the only one who can supply such services, which means the principle of competition has been violated.
Another argument is the absence of the artist’s name in the contract. According to the head of the FPBC, this is also a violation, because government procurement should be information open.
Borodin asks to review the procedure, deprive Meladze of the order and carry out the government procurement again with the participation of other showbiz contractors.
Previously, Mash wrote that Meladze most likely plans to bring Marie Kraimbreri, who is part of Liana’s label, to Olenegorsk.
