In the case of the terrorist takeover of Rostov pre-trial detention center No. 1, a second accused has appeared – a prisoner who was detained at the beginning of the riot. He survived and gave detailed testimony about how his cellmates managed to prepare an escape and who helped them get items prohibited in the detention center.
According to Mash, on June 16, not six prisoners escaped from cell No. 96, but seven. Malik Gandaloev is the only one who was detained by guards during the active phase of the riot. He resisted and injured employees with a sharp edge. Gandaloev will become the second accused in the terrorist attack case. The first is Daniil Kamnev, who was saved by doctors after being wounded.
After the terrorist attack, an inspection began in the pre-trial detention center, followed by dismissals. At the same time, the FSIN said that this was a coincidence and had nothing to do with the emergency – two employees allegedly left of their own free will. Following them, the head of the operational department, Konstantin Gorokh, was fired without the right to reinstatement in the department. According to our information, another employee of the detention center left under the same article – “Gross violation of official discipline”.
