The Krasnoyarsk Territory took first place among the regions of Siberia in terms of average wages. IrkutskMedia news agency writes about this.
According to Rosstat, in January-February 2026 the figure in the region was 108,870 rubles. This is higher not only than the average values for the Siberian Federal District (88,149 rubles), but also the indicators of other subjects. The closest competitor was the Irkutsk region, where the average salary reached 95,612 rubles.
Let us add that in other regions of Siberia wages are much lower. So, after the Angara region comes the Novosibirsk region with a salary of 89,305 rubles, then the Tomsk region (86,662 rubles). The lowest figure was recorded in the Altai Territory, where the average salary was 64,240 rubles.
