In Krasnoyarsk, the water level in small rivers has risen sharply

Warm weather has led to a sharp increase in the level of small rivers in Krasnoyarsk, Mayor Sergei Vereshchagin said.
Thus, the water in Kutch rose by more than 1.5 meters in a week; in the city this can be seen both from the inflow in the riverbed and from the strong current.
In the outskirts of the city and the dacha sector, the situation is more complicated – there the river overflows its banks. In Drokino and Solontsy, the level is closest to the maximum levels, flooding garden plots and driveways.
“The situation today is not critical. The city's civil defense and emergency response team is on duty at the scene. Evacuation of the population is not required,” the mayor emphasized.
The Spasatel institution said that in the village of Logovaya, Emelyanovsky District, a family of six people, including five children, was cut off by water. Unable to get out on their own, they asked for help. Specialists quickly evacuated people, delivering them to relatives. We also had to rescue a dog that was on a leash from a neighboring farmstead.
Sergei Vereshchagin noted that not only Kacha, but also Bazaikha causes difficulties. This river flooded areas in three SNT in the Sverdlovsk region.
The Yenisei is also being monitored – in the penultimate day the water level in it has increased by 17 cm, but overall the situation is calm.
“Another warming wave is ahead; experts continue to monitor the levels of rivers and streams daily. In the event of a sharp deterioration in the flood situation, our services will be ready to come to the rescue and deploy temporary accommodation points,” the mayor promised.
