The Krasnoyarsk “Iron Lady” was invited to the Kremlin Palace for the final of the All-Russian Business Prestige Award

The owner of the Krasnoyarsk Steel Structures Plant, Evgenia Potapchik, reached the finals of the national competition in the category “Industry, production, energy and innovation.” The award ceremony took place on April 26 at the State Kremlin Palace.

The “Business Prestige: Woman Creator” award is being held for the fourth time with the support of the State Duma, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and brings together business representatives from all over the country. In 2026, more than 4 thousand applications from different regions were submitted for participation, and 317 participants reached the finals. The victory of the Krasnoyarsk businesswoman in the industry-specific nomination was one of the notable results for the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The participation of regional representatives in federal business awards and their victories reflect not only the personal achievements of managers, but also the overall level of development of the regional industrial sector. The total turnover of companies participating in the Business Prestige award this year amounted to 4 trillion rubles (for comparison: in 2025 – about 60 billion rubles).

The most active were representatives of Moscow, Bashkiria, Omsk and Sverdlovsk regions, St. Petersburg and Kamchatka Territory. The most applications were received in the areas of industry, manufacturing, energy and innovation, social entrepreneurship, science and education, creative industries, healthcare and medicine.

Every year, participants in the award represent a wide range of industries – from the chemical and petrochemical industries, mechanical engineering and pharmaceuticals to metallurgy, energy, construction, light industry and the agro-industrial complex. Projects in logistics and high technology are also actively developing, including new materials and software.

These women in business make a serious contribution to strengthening the national sovereignty and export potential of the country.
