Toulouse head coach Carles Martinez will leave the club at the end of the 2025/26 season, the club confirmed in a press release.
The 41-year-old Spaniard initially joined the team as assistant to Philippe Montanier in 2023. He later took over as head coach from the Frenchman for the 2023/24 season. Martinez's contract runs until June 30, 2026.
In the 118 matches under the Spanish coach, the French team recorded 42 wins, 30 draws and 46 defeats. Toulouse are currently 10th in the French league with 38 points after 31 matches.
Previously, Martinez worked as a goalkeeping coach and fitness trainer for several Spanish teams, Al Rayyan and Kuwait, and also managed Barcelona's U16 team.
