Federal prosecutors brought charges against former FBI Director James Comey in connection with his posting last year. photos on Instagram calling for the removal of President Trump, CNN reported. These are the second charges against a critic of the president.

According to CNN, Comey is expected to face charges for posting on his Instagram account in May photo of seashells on the beach arranged in numbers 86 and 47.
The number 47 was intended to represent Trump, who is the 47th president of the United States. And “86” in the jargon used, among others, in restaurants it can mean a ban, the removal of something or someone, and in the colloquial sense – killing a person.
“Nice arrangement of seashells on my walk on the beach,” Comey wrote in the poste, which was quickly deleted after comments that it contained a murder threat. In another message, the former FBI chief wrote that the seashells he saw “were a political message,” but he denied inciting violence, explaining that he did not know it could be interpreted as a call to kill.
Information about the allegations was also confirmed by Fox News and other media, but so far no details are known as to what specific charges the former FBI director will face. President Donald Trump has long openly called for the prosecution of Comey. Trump fired the then-FBI chief in the first months of his first term because of his investigation into the Russian connections of Trump and his team.
Trump's wish to prosecute Comey was granted in September last year, when he was charged with allegedly lying in congressional testimony. However, a federal court later decided to dismiss the charges, ruling that Lindsey Halligan, appointed by Trump to bring charges against Comey, was not eligible for the position.
Halligan, a former lawyer on Trump's team, was appointed days after Trump fired a federal prosecutor in Virginia who opposed indicting the former FBI chief due to a lack of evidence. In the same way, charges against Letitia James, the attorney general of New York state, whose punishment Trump had also previously demanded, were dismissed.
