Ilie Bolojan accuses Sorin Grindeanu of lying in Brussels: “He will not collaborate with AUR, and now he is doing the exact opposite”

In a show on Digi24, Bolojan claimed that Grindeanu would have sent a different message to Brussels than the political actions in the country: “Grindeanu lied when he said in Brussels that he would not collaborate with AUR.”
The Prime Minister also spoke about the direction in which Romania could go, depending on the political decisions of the next period.
“You have two possibilities: by not thinking about what you are doing, you return to where you left off, which would be a great cost for the country. The second option is to continue things seriously, to get results. But for that you have to have solutions,” he said.
Ilie Bolojan drew attention to the risks generated by unrealistic promises, especially regarding salaries and the economic situation.
“In the conditions in which you generate some expectations, you say that things will improve substantially, or there is no way that will happen, the losses will not be assumed by anyone. A minimum political commitment is needed, it is hard for me to believe that we can assume what we promised”, he also said.
The Prime Minister added that the Government has been trying for several months to recover the delays from previous years: “For 10 months we have struggled to recover the big delays of the last years. We must now pass the salary law. If we create expectations that salaries in the public sector will increase by I don't know how much, we are making fun of them.”
The Head of the Executive questioned the solutions proposed by the social democrats.
“You should ask any PSD representatives what are the solutions for cheaper energy. What are the solutions in the economic field, in the field of combating tax evasion”, said the prime minister.
The statements come in the context of increased political tensions, after the Social Democratic Party and AUR announced the submission of a motion of censure against the Government led by Ilie Bolojan.
