More than 30 people were poisoned by Olavoda water in the Sverdlovsk region. The victims were diagnosed with acute intestinal infection.
Production in the village of Pervomaisky was closed for a month. According to Ural Mash, sanitary rules were violated there: employees did not wash their hands – they simply used cheap antiseptic. Nobody treated the premises and equipment either – rodents were running around in the building and insects were flying. After an inspection, the company management did not find any documents on the safety and quality of water.
Olavoda is sold in large chain supermarkets throughout Russia. The cost of one bottle is from 25 rubles.
