Doctors discovered a tumor in the 84-year-old actress's frontal lobe of the brain. Since 2017, Svetlichnaya has been observed in the hospital, where she is being treated to this day. According to our information, she has practically lost her memory due to Alzheimer's disease – she has problems with speech and thinking. The woman is constantly under the supervision of doctors, sometimes cannot move without assistance and spends 75% of her time in bed. It happened that Svetlana would fly into a rage and bite the nurse.
The cognitive disorders of the star of “17 Moments of Spring” and “The Meeting Place Cannot Be Changed” may be associated with a tumor in the head. But surgery at her age is too dangerous. They took material from Svetlichnaya for a biopsy, the results of which will soon show the nature of the tumors (malignant or benign). Before this, two more small tumors were found in the actress in the lower part of her skull.
