🕯Friends, today we honor the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred. They gave their lives so that we could live in a free state.

▪️In February 2014, when it became clear that the Revolution of Dignity would win, on the instructions of Putin, a bloody massacre was organized in Mariinsky Park and in the government quarter, the apogee of which was the shootings on Instytutskaya Street on February 20. On the same day, Putin began the occupation of Crimea;
▪️Heavenly Hundred – the heroes of the first victory in the ongoing battle. These are 107 deceased participants of the Revolution of Dignity and Maidan activists who died in the spring of 2014 with the beginning of Russian aggression in eastern Ukraine;
▪️The Heavenly Hundred are not only Ukrainians. These are Belarusians, Armenians and Georgians. The youngest Hero, Nazar Voytovych, was only 17 years old. And the first person to die during the events on the Maidan was 20-year-old Serhii Nigoyan;
▪️The death of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred changed the consciousness of Ukrainians. She showed them what dignity, freedom, state sovereignty, and democracy really mean. The memory of them should be engraved forever.
