Radoi left Romania on the run and sent a message to Becali

The coach gave a few statements at the airport upon departure. He had nothing to reproach the former club and sent a message to his godfather Gigi Becali.
After only a month and a half, Rădoi left FCSB. The formalization of the red-blue “divorce” took place on Tuesday, when FCSB and Gaziantep each issued an official statement on social media.
The first time Mirel Rădoi's staff arrived at the airport, and 40 minutes later the technician also appeared. “Seconds” Mihai Ianovschi and Ionuț Stancu, physical trainer Horațiu Baciu and goalkeeping coach Robert Tufiși accompanied the coach.

“Yes, it really happened quickly. Somehow, the situation was at the level of discussions for the summer, but the coach there resigned and things accelerated.
The agreement was in the Gulf area in the summer, but people understood, because no pre-contract had been signed, that I was trying to stay at least one season in Europe, and after that… I wanted to be in a place where it would be a springboard to other championships.
The way our activity was carried out had no impediment to succeed. From all points of view, from the kitchen, to all the people, to the field, the owner, I have nothing to complain about.
(no – If Gigi Becali tried to make him change his mind) I had discussions with them, but I told them that in sports things don't always turn out the way we want, and these things must strengthen us. I was also in their situation, and in the end you have to find your motivation to move on.
Gigi Becali received the news well, let's say. I told him that maybe he will be disappointed by the man Mirel Rădoi somewhere, but probably later he will enjoy the fine Mirel Rădoi.
I told him that I understand his disappointment towards me, that I thought we were going to the end, but at this moment the first barrier is pretty much secured. I hope they will be inspired, because it is not easy for them to find a coach so quickly and to be able to prepare the match.
(no – Are you coming back to FCSB?) I don't have those thoughts yet, I'm excited for what will happen in Gaziantep, the next opponent. We see what will be in time and what appears in the future.
It's hard to send a message to the fans, because it seems like a disappointing situation, but it's hard for them to understand what I'm doing now. Everyone knows their own, I want people not to judge if they don't know me. Supporters should be with the team”, declared Mirel Rădoi, upon departure from Romania.
Mirel Rădoi, greeted by FCSB fans at the airport
Extremely hurried, Rădoi came with three bags around 21:00, taking into account the fact that the flight is scheduled at 21:45 from Otopeni airport to Istanbul. From there, he will also go by plane to Gaziantep.
Several FCSB fans stopped him from taking pictures, and he moved fast enough to avoid missing the plane.
The technician is thus parting ways with the team he had returned to about a month and a half ago.
In this short term, Rădoi marked five matches on the FCSB bench: three victories (4-0 with Oțelul, 1-0 with UTA and 3-2 with Farul), one draw (0-0 with Metaloglobus) and one defeat (2-3 with FC Botoșani).
At the time of his departure, FCSB was in first place in the play-out standings, two points above the next ranked UTA Arad.
Radoi will train three Romanian players in Gaziantep. It is about Deian Sorescu, Alexandru Maxim and Denis Drăguș. He will make his debut as a “principal” in the new team on April 25, when Gaziantep travels to Eyupspor's field.
The club from Turkey is currently in 10th place with 37 points after 30 rounds.
