The 14th retirement will surprise some seniors. They will get less than before

For an additional benefit in the form of the so-called Many retirees in Poland will turn fourteen. The 14th pension will be paid in autumn, as every year. The amount of the 14th pension is assumed to correspond to the amount of the minimum benefit, which this year is PLN 1,978.49 gross. However, only people whose pension or disability pension does not exceed a certain threshold will receive the full amount. For pensions above PLN 2,900 gross, the “one zloty for one zloty” principle applies, which reduces the “fourteenth pension”. In turn, after exceeding the threshold of PLN 4,828.49 gross, the benefit disappears completely.
