CSM Bucharest, the champion of Romania, continues to strengthen its squad for the upcoming competitive season. On Wednesday afternoon, the “tigresses” announced the transfer of the Swedish Jenny Carlson (30 years old), a player who works in the center position.

Swedish international, she comes to Romania from Molde, where she played last season. Along with the national team, it has two participations in the Olympic Games, to which are added two European Championships and three World Championships.

So far, CSM Bucharest has also announced the transfer of the following players for the upcoming competitive season: Denisa Șandru (goalkeeper), Tyra Axner (left center), Pernille Brandenborg (pivot), Dorottya Faluvegi (extreme right), Csenge Kuczora (left center), Daria Dmitrieva (coordinator).

Born on April 17, 1995, Jenny Carlson is a Swedish handball player who currently plays for Molde Elite and is a constant presence in the Swedish national team. Recognized for her game vision, tactical intelligence and ability to organize the offensive phase, Jenny is one of the most valuable game coordinators in Nordic handball.

Throughout her career, the future CSM Bucharest player played for important clubs in some of the most competitive championships in Europe, accumulating solid experience in the Danish championship, in the French championship when she moved to Brest Bretagne Handball or in the German championship when she moved to HC Ludwigsburg.

With the national team, Jenny Carlson participated in the 2020 and 2024 Summer Olympics and several European (2 editions) or World (3 editions) Championships, confirming her status as a top player at the highest level.
