Victor Angelescu, the minority shareholder from Rapid, intervened on account of the images and statements in the foreground with the team captain, Alex Dobrefrom the match with FC Argeș, score 0-0, in the 4th stage of the Superliga.
Dobre had a nervous exit in the 60th minute, when he was substituted, amid a modest development. Then, at the flash-interview, he continued to express his grievances and implied that Costel Gâlcă's tactical ideas did not benefit him, which is why he considers that, personally, he played an “ok” match.
Attacked hard by Ioan Andone, who said that Dobre no longer deserves to play, the captain was defended by the team president, 24 hours after the match.
Victor Angelescu, about Dobre's gestures and reaction on Monday evening
“Dobre was angry, first of all with the evolution and then because he was changed. He exaggerated a lot. He greeted the coach, then the players, only he was frustrated, he was nervous.
The initial gesture is not ok, but we don't stay to put the microscope, to see every minute what they do or if they pick their noses. He had a poor game, that's the reality. Nobody played very well. I don't know what he says about tactics. He's nervous, maybe you say things in the heat of the moment.
I'm not a tactical expert, let me know what they have prepared in the dressing room. Dobre scored 15 goals with Costel Gâlcă, we didn't change the tactics. It's normal to be nervous. It was an important match for us, you broke the ranking. It was, theoretically, the easiest match you could win, with Argeș at home”, said Victor Angelescu, on the “Fotbal Show” show, from Prima Sport.
Next, MM Stoica, the FCSB official, added: “Maybe he is asked to play too low, too defensive. He is in his position, which is where he got to the national team.”
I played a poor match. We had to win this game at home if we wanted to fight for the championship. Dobre has good numbers, 17 goals, very good numbers for a right winger. In the last matches he played weaker.
I know him very well, he wants it, he prepares exceptionally well, you have nothing to reproach him for. It's normal to get frustrated. There are players who still slam a water bottle when they are sent off, it happens in football. It's good for him to get over his anger and recover.
