Bayern Munich legend Arjen Robben (42) has commented on tomorrow's Champions League quarter-final second leg between the Bavarians and Real Madrid.

The Dutch winger also spoke about the performance of Michael Olise, who many see as his successor on the right flank of the Bavarian club.

Arjen Robben: “Bayern will qualify”

“I think Olise is doing very well. That's my opinion. He was excellent. He played with energy and creativity and showed great skills with the ball. There are definitely some similarities between me and him. But we always have to be careful with comparisons.

I don't particularly like them because every player has their own style of play. Of course, there are some things in which we are alike. But at the end of the day, he's a different player than me. It just does its job brilliantly. I'm honestly happy for that and I can enjoy his game,” Robben said, according to sportal.bg.

The former multiple champion with Bayern, who scored the winning goal against Borussia Dortmund in the 2013 Champions League final, also offered his prediction for tomorrow's big game: “Bayern will go further! Because they are stable and at the moment everything is working perfectly for them. They are a well-oiled machine and I think they will continue like this until the end.

But still, it's football, so a situation can always arise where a red card or something like that is shown. Obviously, you have to pay attention to this. You must be alert throughout the 95 minutes. If Bayern can manage that, then in my opinion there is only one team that will win, and that is Bayern.”

Robben played for Real Madrid even before joining Bayern (2007-2009). He was then the Bavarians' player between 2009 and 2019.

As time goes on, there are fewer and fewer players I've actually played with. Right now there are a few more. I'm genuinely happy for them when they win. If I had to pick one, it would be Manuel Neuer. This season he has one more chance to win the Champions League and I really hope he succeeds.
